Following the Surface Ocean CO2 Variability and Vulnerability Workshop, the IOCCP and the SOLAS-IMBER Carbon Group agreed to establish the Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas (SOCAT) project, including 5 regional groups to carry out quality control and synthesis work.
