  • Approaching abstract submission deadlines for SOLAS Open Science Conference & 7th Argo Science Workshop

    We would like to bring your attention to two events with looming deadlines for abstract submission: 20 June for the 8th SOLAS Open Science Conference, and 15 June for the 7th Argo Science Workshop. 

     

    SOLAS Open Science Conference, 25-29 September 2022, Cape Town, South Africa

    The 8th SOLAS Open Science Conference is organized as a hybrid event with virtual or in-person attendance on 25-29 September 2022 at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. For more details about the conference and information about registration, please visit the conference website: www.uctcmc.eventsair.com/solas-osc2022/ 

     

    Deadline for abstracts, session proposals and travel support applications was extended until 20 June 2022.

     

    7th Argo Science Workshop, 11-13 October 2022, Brussels, Belgium

    This international workshop is hosted by Euro-Argo, in the framework of the Euro-Argo RISE and EuroSea H2020 European Union projects, and will take place on 11-13 October 2022 at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences in Brussels (Belgium). This will be a hybrid event with in-person and virtual attendance options. No fees will be charged for abstract submission or registration.     Deadline for abstract submission was extended to 15 June 2022.

     

    The IOCCP promotes the development of a global network of ocean carbon observations for research through technical coordination and communication services, international agreements on standards and methods, and advocacy and links to the global observing systems. The IOCCP is co-sponsored by the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO. Read more…
