We are excited to share that the review paper on ocean carbonate chemistry data products has been published.

To understand the crucial role that the Ocean plays in the global carbon cycle, we need access to a broad array of data products documenting the changing chemistry of the global ocean as a vast and interconnected system. Our latest article provides an overview of 68 existing ocean carbonate chemistry data products and data product sets to help researchers identify information that best aligns with their research objectives, thereby advancing our understanding of the ocean's evolving carbonate chemistry.

This synthesis article reflects significant community-based efforts that have been made to advance understanding of the ocean's role in global carbon cycling. We congratulate the lead author Li-Qing Jiang, and all co-authors for their contributions. We also want to acknowledge the current members of the IOCCP Scientific Steering Group who are on the co-authors list: Nico Lange, Galen A. McKinley, Adrienne Sutton, and Maciej Telszewski.
