Themes

The IOCCP, with its activities evolving to meet new challenges as the science progresses coordinates a highly diverse set of ocean carbon and biogeochemistry activities (Themes), through extensive collaboration and technical dialogue with the scientific community at regional and global level. Since 2013 in our role as GOOS Biogeochemistry Panel we expanded the scope to include coordination activities around Essential Ocean Variables for Biogeochemistry. Current set of Themes represents the juxtaposition of the needs communicated by the scientific community and our capacity to provide meaningful and effective coordination and communication services across the whole portfolio.
